Breaking Heart, Grateful Heart Soothie: A Healing Meditation

Online | Friday, November 29 | 10 - 11 am MST

Join Jeannie for a free meditation honoring this essential truth: that our capacity to lament loss and our ability to celebrate beauty are born from the same source–the human heart’s love for life itself.

As we approach the U.S. holiday of Thanksgiving and the Indigenous Day of Mourning, we face two profound realities: the challenges we face as a people and the invitation into gratitude for life's preciousness. We gather in community to acknowledge these aspects of being human on earthexploring our hearts' sorrow and love while deepening our reverent kinship with all of life.

This free meditation is for you if:

  • You're tired of swinging between hope and despair, numbness and overwhelm, and sense there's another way.

  • You're seeking practices to navigate these challenging times with a whole heart.

  • You sense there's wisdom in your heartache but need support to trust and fully open to it.

  • You want to alchemize and metabolize grief and loss rather than get lost or stagnate in it.

  • You're seeking an authentic way to give thanks while holding painful truths.

  • You feel drawn to explore grief as a pathway to deeper reverence and gratitude.

  • You want to experience how community can hold both our sorrows and our celebrations.

  • You want to discover how broken-heartedness can be a doorway to a deeper connection to yourself, others and life.

This gathering offers a space to be deeply honest while discovering the mysterious way that fully feeling our losses can reconnect us to life's inherent gifts, wholeness and capacity for regeneration. Whether you're navigating personal grief, feeling the weight of our collective challenges, or simply seeking a more authentic way to give thanks, you're welcome here.

This free meditation is an invitation to discover what becomes possible when we stop trying to choose between grief and gratitude, and instead allow our hearts to hold life's full truth.

Open to all. No meditation experience necessary. Recording will be available to registrants.
